New 350Z owners, read this before doing any modifications to your Z.
I recently purchased a 2008 Grand Touring Edition and was looking to bump the horsepower a bit. I used to drive a RX 8 and found it pretty responsive to a cold air intake system. My question is has anyone used one on a Z or are you aware of other alternatives besides turbo charging, which I have no desire to do. Thanks.
I recently just bought a 7" head unit to upgrade my stereo. However the one i bought came with a face plate that doesnt fit the cars stock face correctly even though it said it does. I also tried using the unit with the 99-7420 kit i believe which is made for the 2005 350z. The unit will not fit correctly and it looks ugly. CAN ANYONE HELP ME FIND THE RIGHT PIECE PLEASE!?
Thanks for such a detailed and noob friendly write up. Your wording and position is in no way confrontational or aggressive like some of the responses to first-time posters on this and many other forums. When I read posts like this, it makes me want to stay on a forum. So many times I see a-hole responses from people who think for some reason that they are better than others just because they know something the other person doesn't. Knowledge not shared is knowledge wasted. And personally, I appreciate your effort to inform. I believe that the only dumb question is the question not asked. Yet so many people live in a bubble of ignorance because they are afraid to ask a question only to get roasted by forum members who have been around longer. Instead of tearing people down, they should follow your example and share knowledge to build people up, thus strengthening the community. Quite frankly, it's your post that kept me coming back to this forum. Keep up the good work!
