I sold my 2004 ZR a while back and I just came across a custom piece that I had made by a reputable stereo shop to house the nitrous bottle in the trunk. Its perfectly fit for the car and a center mount bottle, it is finished in black carpet (looks like stock) and has and engraved 350Z in it. It looks great and it still allows you to use the trunk. The bottle will fit like a glove. Anyways, I paid $225 for the installer to make it, (It took him a full day to get it to fit perfect and he wen't through 2 other designs before picking this one) Anyways, I have no use for it, if anyone wants it its yours for $80 shipped anywhere in the US.
