Question Engine block

from what I know the stock engine block can only handle 400hp before starting to screw up.

what can i do to make it handle more or is there an aftermarket block?

run a search....

Usually a stock turbo setup will be fine. Anything above 7-8psi you will start to snap stuff.

You run risk of engine damage with almost any FI kit on a stock block. I would venture to say that the safe level for power with COMPLETE PIECE OF MIND is more along the lines of 320 rwhp. Look here: www.sgpracing.com

If I was to do a TT kit I would go with JWT.

But then again thats my opinion. BTW check out the latest issue of SportZ Mag and you can see an excellent article on TT kits for the VQ35 motors.
