Just a heads up...for those interested in buying the Z Roadster or already have one!

Consumer Reports tested the 350Z Roadster, S2000, Boxster and a few other convertibles in the Oct. 2005 Edition.

The Z Roadster was Recommended by Consumer Reports too!

 

Good article. Consumer Reports original critique of the 350Z 2003 was pretty harsh. Interesting that the 350Z has not changed over the past 2 years, but Consumer Reports has done a 180-degree turnaround. Go figure.

 

I think the interior is what did it...when the reviewed it the first time around, they seemed pretty obsessed with how "cheap" the interior looked. Given the improvements in the Z's interior, I guess that complaint has been rectified in their minds. The rest of their complaints in that review seemed pretty silly to me. Stiff ride?! Tight storage space?! It's a sports car, for crissakes!

Slightly off-topic, did anyone else find it odd that they reviewed the Lotus Elise? Before I read that review, I made a guess on all the things they were gonna say, and I got about 90% of them right. 1 paragraph about performance, and a dozen+ paragraphs about size and impracticality.
