Has anyone in the group used the OEM Bose satelite HU? If so, is it a good unit or is it junk?

Also, I would like to find someone in the group that might want to sell theirs. I do have a Kenwood unit that I had in my 03 Z Coupe but I would like to use the factory unit in my Roadster if they are good units.

 

I was told by my Nissan mechanic that you can't use the 04-05 Bose HU with an 03 because it's an entirely different connector. He said I was better off buying another HU. Maybe he was wrong, but that's why I haven't bought one yet.

 

Thanks for the response. I should have pointed out that my Roadster is a 2004 model. I sold my 03 about six months ago.
