Default May Have To Take ZR Back To Dealer...

i love this car. but personal issues with the car and my dad. now the car must go back to the lot. i can not afford such a price tag... dad suckered me. wonder how much of loss i would have to eat. driven about almost 2,000 miles. looked at cars.com and you really can't find a 06 Touring Roadster on Magnetic Black with Navi...

gosh good luck. just remember if u wanna hide disequity, u will need to do it in an 06 model car. u need a car that goes back a book very deep or has a good rebate on it. hope u get a good book on your car dude! you might have to sell it private party at the minimum to get a good value.

too bad your ZR has to go! that is something people must understand when they get one. the payments can potentially be high! i accepted that when i purchased mine. i got a little lucky in the deal though!
keep your head up and weigh all your options. maybe you can pick up another Z somewhere else on a trade? or maybe sell yours and pick up another? good luck!

Not to get on your case or anything but how do you return a vehicle if you purhcase it or lease it? If it is s a lease don't you have a contract for 36 months.

Most cars depreciate between 10-20% when you drive them off the lot. Take it back to the same dealer and explain your situation. You may have to get a used car or a discounted '05 model to make up for you inequity.

that's a bummer, I am not trying to pry but shouldn't any indifferences have been worked out before you bought the car...I only say this because now you have a car with negative equity which in turn could mean same car payment with a cheaper car...it just suks because your going from what may seem like a bad situation to possibly another....not trying to make it worse for you or anything

I bought an 06 Titan in January and two weeks later my wife divorced me so I said the hell with the Titan I am getting a Z..worked out but I had to roll almost $12,000 of negative equity onto the Z, the Titan was only two months old, I made one payment on it........fortunatly the dealership really gave me a great deal off the Z sticker to eat alot of it up but my payment right now is high...I was prepared for it otherwise I would not have bought the Z....

sq40 makes a great point, go back to the same dealership and explain the situation, hopefully they can help you out, good luck....

Default Good Luck

Sell it Privately. Make payments till you find a buyer (if you can). Dealership is not your best option. See if your finance company can offer you a two month extension to give you time to sell.

I might take over your payments, take pics of the car and tell me how much you got left on loan.

thanks!

ouch... thats a blower. i still have my roadster for the meantime... found a job at a local gas station. i wish i could take on the $855 payments a month (no down payment)... my insurance is running high also $400+... close to half the payments of the car its self. i would love to sell my car privately... i.e. take over the car payments through Nissan... I got the car fully loaded except the the burnt orange seats...that includes the navigation and bose 6-cd mp3 changer. its not a grand touring... $42K otd + 6.8% finance through nissan. i also have three protections through nissan which includes 60 months 100K miles extended warranty, car value protection incase of loss..., and lojack early warning protection. the car is still being grannyd, not finished with break-in period... 0 - 3750 miles. car has 2,200 miles.
