Default can't sleep....

comming home from work, an '06 GTO (black) toys with me, I dropped a gear and took-off, had 'bout 4 seconds of glory 'till it passed me up like I was stuck at a red light.......

got some noob questions?!

1) does VSC slow-down the car?
2) had 75 wet-shots on my celica gts.....can i do 75+ shots on a Z?!
3) does anyone know or heard anything about ProChargers?!

1>) VDC in perfect driving conditions will in fact slow you down, mainly because it senses wheel spin and cuts your throttle. It would better to turn it off and modulate your throttle yourself so it does not create wheel spin.
2.) Yes you can and there are guys pushing 100+ wet shots. BUT I highly suggest you look in the FI section under Nitrous for safety requirements. (Might need to do some building on the block, I’m not sure).
3.) I have heard of them, but no real clue. Do a search and you should get some good threads I am sure.

Good luck man. And take her easy.

Put your top and foot down and enjoy the wind whip as you rip corners, pick your spots, and flow through traffic like water.

Don't sweat the stoplight-to-stoplight 1/4 mile redneck slagpiles - they're stupid, boring Detroit herd boxes.

a turbonator would have come in handy against him

seriously though. A 75 shot is ok on the stock block. Do a quick search on prochargers and you will get tons of info on it.

lol, you picked the wrong fight. if your going to get depressed after every race you lose, i would suggest sticking to racing N/A imports. i hope you didnt buy the Z purely based on straight line speed, if you did you bought the wrong car.

ur right, and I didn't buy it to race, just got sick of having no torque in my celica gts...although I was able to walk one of my buddy's G35, with a help of nitrous ofcourse.....

much happier now knowing the Z's potential and not getting picked-on all the time on the road when I had the celi.......
