Default pricing and model debate

I am new here and am looking into purchasing a new 06 zr, i am leaning towards the grand touring (the difference of VDC and brembo brakes) instead of the touring. Any opinions are welcomed and any price info would help also, I have been researching all the sites suggested, i.e. carsdirect, cars.com ... etc...... . So far I got a quote from 1 dealer who had a gtr w/nav for about 40K + tax & license.

It's up to you how you want to spend your money. The GT is going to be right around $40k or so. You should be able to get a Touring for somewhere around $37,000-ish.

If the Brembo brakes and VDC are worth that to you, then buy it and be happy.

bought an 06 GTR 6 spd and paid invoice in May so do your home work. Definately like the Brembos and recommend them. Could care les about the VDC and would opt out of it if I could. The GT is more exclusive if that's important to you.

I just purchased a 06 Touring ZR - my second ZR replacing my 04. I like to get a good deal on a car and know that you get the best deal on what's available. Within 100 miles of Boston there were only 6 ZR's that met my minimum criteria - 6 SPEED of those 2 were Red, 2 Black 1 Silver Alloy one Silverstone - I wanted Silverstone this time - sticker was 38K (Base plus 490 options) I offered 36K. I would have considered a GT but only Auto trans version were around. I really like v2.0 of the ZR great upgrade over 04 - It was surprising to see a large selection of 05 roadsters around - great prices on some of them but I'm glad I didn't bite on one - Good luck finding a suitable GT - (The NissanUSA search engine has been screwed up for a few weeks so if you want a backdoor URL that works PM me)
