Default Cut in Top and Radio Replacement

Found a cut in my top right below the rear window. Not sure how it got done but I think someone probably stuck a knife in it. I'm going to run the car by an upholstry place that does convertible tops and see what they say. I'm planning on trading the car in the next few months and I don't want to replace the top just for that cut or spend a lot to get it fixed. If they can't do anything or charge too much I'm thinking of trying some glue to see if I can get the cut to stay together long enough until I can trade the car. I have ordered an 2007 Audi A4 convertible. Seeing that cut now makes me think I should have went with the hardtop Volvo or VW Eos convertible. Both are new designs and I never buy 1st year cars as no mater what make all 1st year designs have a lot of bugs.

The dealer told me that when they replaced my radio that the guy scratched my trim piece all up. The service manager said he would get me a new trim piece and I also demanded another radio as the replacement one they put in looked awful. The service manager agreed to get me another radio. All of the radios are refurbished ones so I'm back to waiting on the radio as the manager wants to put the radio and new trim piece in at one time.

Let us know how it goes, I'm interested to know if a slit can be repaired.

They can, but it doesn't look the greatest. They can use those products you used to see on TV for leather repair, but over time the cut shows through.
