We were on the verge of buying a Sky. But then stopped by a Nissan dealer to look at a truck and there was this beautifffuuuulll ZR on the showroom floor. Went home poorer, but happier. The car is a hoot, It's really in a different class than the Saturn or Pontiac. Both in quality and performance. Of course that all comes with a price. I've never seen another on the road locally (Minneapolis/St Paul) either. Coupes, yes, but never another Roadster.

I had a chance to drive a friend's Solstice and I agree, it felt somewhat sluggish...but now there's the Sky Redline...it's turbocharged... 0-60 in 5.5 seconds...comes with some sort of tuneable suspension package. I'm on the waiting list for the Redline... I've got a fully refundable deposit of $1000 on it. I'm just getting sick of waiting for a car that may or may not have issues. At this point, the earliest I'll get the car will be mid/late December. I've always like the 350Z and have been a little torn about the ZR...but thanks to the sweet pics you guys are posting, it's groing on me quite a bit. Thanks for making my decision that much more difficult.

Hope this view helps you make up your mind. My camera is on the low end so sorry for the quality!

Trust me, the car makes up for it!

I have to agree with the others, I couldn't be happier with my ZR(unless it had a JWT TT kit!)

I would stay away from the Saturn(American Build Quality). I gave a guy a lift that had a Solstice, and he absolutely went off on the difference between my Z and his. He was actually pissed off at his car after he rode in mine.

I have the Touring trim level as well. Definitely recommend that.

To me top down is 80% of the thrill of the Z. It's also my daily driver, but I don't have a wife or kids so that helps!

we just bought our ZR about a month ago. we looked at the Sky redline, Z4, and the Crossfire.

there's just no substitute in styling AND performance for the money...

Oh man...those pics are sweet... one thing that's making me lean toward a Z is that I can actually lease it. With one of the jobs I have, I'm able to deduct a little more of the price of the car for tax purposes than I would if I were buying it. DAMN!!! I should already be in my Redline by now... I could be sitting in my own ZR next week.
