Default 2004 Roadster preview

I attended a reception at the Blackhawk Automotive Museum this evening at which the 2004 Roadster was previewed in advance of next month's premier.

Here are some pictures.

Here's some photos that I took from the event at Blackhawk and Takao's meet

It is a pretty car with the top down, but it is a ragtop which means reduced security, safety and eventuallu noise. What happened to T-tops or Targa? I think that is what detracts from the S2000 ( plus lack of power)

Don’t be too impressed by the pictures, GodZilla. They are some of the few that were in focus! Flash doesn’t really work in that venue, and it was difficult to keep the camera steady below 1/30.

Something old, something new.

(For some reason, the last image does not seem to display. If it continues to be a problem, I'll repost.)

Default Can you tell about seat/leg room

Could you tell if the Roadster seat went back as far (or nearly as far) as the coupe?

I am tall and I have a roadster on order, but I was worried that the leg room might be less.

Can anyone tell from the pictures? I don;t have a Z yet to compare the max seat back location to the coupe

Thanks in advance.

Default Too bad it is fut bucking ugly with the top up...

I am sorry, but this thing disappointed me. I felt the coupe already looked a bit overweight, but this car looks like a hog. Heaven forbid you ever need to put the top up! Children will run away screaming in horror!

->putting on my asbestos suit now

Default 2004 interior changes?

I would hope they do. Since The S2000, Miata, Boxster, Z4, and the TT have a detachable hard top availible I can't see why Nissan wouldn't make one!
