I heart global warming.
Btw, idk who came up with the theory of global warming, but isn't it a fact that the oceans have WAY more to do with the heating and cooling of the planet than the air around us due to simply that water can hold far more heat than air anyway? Maybe they(the global warming theorists) should look at the currents of the ocean instead of al gores butt ><

well global warming theories are saying that due to increase in pollution and what not...the earth is heating up and letting more sun rays in...this heats the ice caps and when the fresh water of the ice caps melt into the ocean...it actually disrupts the oceanic flow (conveyor belt) and if it stops....ice age!...no more top down driving!

it is also tru as the sun's raise hit the ocean that the water absorbs the heat...instead of bouncing of the ice caps...but this heats the water around the ice caps making them melt even faster...

I personally thinkg global warming is real and it needs to be notced.

Unfortunately everything contributes to pollution. From the Z's we drive to the very computer you're typing on. They require power as does the lighting in your homes and the need to stay warm.

Factories making the aftermarket parts for our cars contribute to pollution. The sad reality is, unless we want to revert to living in the dark ages for a couple decades to give pollution a chance to clear up, there's not much that will make a significant difference.

i do agree with that to a certain extent...but if you look at the statistics...they are pretty awesome...if everyone does do a little bit for the environment, it can make drastic changes to the amount of contaminants in the air....dont get me wrong...i kno its very difficult to change the world...but if everyone did do something it makes a huge difference...a lot the statistics in Al Gores movie are pretty astonishing...id recommend it if you guys havent watched it

Another school of thought is that global warming is cyclical and unavoidable and has happend before over the past few billion years (saw that on Discovery channel).
