Default Looking to buy a 2006 ZR, have a question..

or two...
1. I am being offered a invoice minus the 1K rebate...good deal or not?

2. What are the chances they will offer 2k or more rebates next month?
3. The car has a few hairline surface scratches do they buff out easily?

I am also being offered a decent offer on my trade. What should I do?

Thanks

Are you using some sort of formula to come up with that? I have only found a few dealers in a wide area willing to do invoice pricing, even with the 07's coming soon.

Yes. Its based on the no haggle CarMax price. Roadsters are selling for 87 percent of MSRP. See: http://www.carmax.com/

And if you want to be more exact subtract $600 shipping from MSRP. Dealers make no profit on shipping. Then figure the percentage. Then the price. Add $600.

You could probably get a '07 for a couple hundred over invoice at the end of January '07.

BTW a dealer in Southern California or Florida will not give a buyer that kind of price. The roadster is a year-round vehicle in both areas. But any dealer facing possible snow is stuck with a 2006 roadster for January and February.
