Thanks! Looking forward to seeing it. Frost interior also sounds like a great choice with SMB.

+1, as much as I like my color combination, I'm facinated with the SMB, gray top, frost interior combination.

Man, I hate rag tops. Sorry if I offend you ZR owners. But, that car looks re-god-damn-diculous with a grey ragtop.

Thanks for posting pics!
Grey soft top is a little lighter in color than I expected. Still looks good though. Frost interior with the SMB is definitely one of the best color combos out there!!!!
Enjoy!!!!

Not a diplomat eh??? Just kidding...

I own a 05 PPW ZR Touring and I honestly think they are not as nice looking as the coupe. I didn't buy the ZR for the way it looks with the top up. I have the blue top and it looks decent enough but it could be a little more aerodynamic looking.

The looks have grown on me and I'm OK with the ZR with the top up but with the top down...well it's why I bought it. I'm a drop top man and I refuse to drive another nice day inside a metal box. To me it's missing half the fun of driving.

I just bought one of these the other day. I have to wait a week for it to get here though because I wanted this color combo. The advantage is it will have basically 0 miles on it when I get it but it really really sucks having to wait for it so long. Man I can't wait for it to get here.

You are lucky that I don't even know what a diplomat is!

My first post.

Ordered the SMB Roadster with frost interior last week, sight unseen, because that has always been my favorite car interior/exterior color combination.

Now that I've seen actual photos of the car, well, I've still never made a mistake. As we southerners say, "that Z is gawjus"

The grey ragtop doesn't exactly float my boat but no one will ever know my Z's top color because it will never be seen once I tuck it away on delivery day.

That delivery day is estimated to be 60-90 days. Anyone who has ordered a Z know if this is an accurate time estimate?

I posted a few posts back that I had just payed for one as well unseeen. I did not however order it made for me. Basically the dealers have a stock of cars that are already made and sitting at a location for all dealers in that region to pull from. If they have one their that is exactly like the one you ordered then you could get it in as little as 1 to 2 weeks. If not then it would be the 60-90 days. I was lucky and they had exactly what I wanted so I should be getting mine in a couple of more days. Hope that helps some.

Default San Marino with Frost Interior

I am thinking about getting that same color combo. I seems, however, that light colors on the top of the dash (gauges panel for those not as old as me) could cause a reflection in the windshield. What is your experience with that? Thanks Rich (k1200rs)
