I email Bose to ask if the problems in the Bose sound systems would be fixed on the 2004 Roadster. Here is the reply.

Hello Andrew,
The 2004 Nissan Roadster will be different from the current model Z because it is a convertible. I do not anticipate the same issues occurring with the new model.
