Pics will be posted when I get the car back maybe next week. It is still in the shop. We're working on the 4th coat of clear. Thanks for the pics of the blue z. I feel more at ease now. I worried about how it would turn out. The blue z looks hawt.

I have an SS so no need to paint - It matches pretty good. It seems that the paint would chip easily unless you sand down the handle first.

Colour coding the door handles on a Z is like wiping the smile off the face of the Mona Lisa.

Not on my car. LOL The door handles are part of a painting or graphic as most would call it. They need to be painted so as to fit into the picture and not draw attention away from the message I am trying to convey in the picture. Got it?

rome i would paint yours black... match it to your roof bro

me on the other hand would rather leave them be than color matching or paint them black... the silver (or black) gives it an off set i think

I would like to paint mine also, but I don't want the paint to start chipping off 3 months later

I looked into this a while back and the way to go is anodizing. You can get about 10 colors and if you like the blackish then there are some awsome firearm coatings available.
I also found one that they use on spacecraft parts that makes the aluminium as hard as diamond.

Don't paint them yourself. Have an expert paint them. They shouldn't chip off in 3 months then.
