Default 2004 or 2005?

Im debating between two roadsters right now and one is a 2004 black and burnt orange with 26,000 miles while the other one is a 2005 white on frost white with 11,000 miles.

Personally, I absolutely LOVE the black and burnt orange, but the white and frost white seems so appealing because of the low mileage and price.

I can get both for the same price. Any recommendations?

I say newer with less miles for the same price.
PPW and Frost is awesome. Blank and Burnt is sweet too though.

Do they both have the same trim level? If all being equal, I personally would take the newer one with lower mileage for the same price. If you like the older one, offer a lower price.

I got 2004 and had transmission problems unless u got automatic. I think
Nissan fixed the problem for 2005.

For the same price, get the newer one with lower mileage.

If you absolutely must have the black/orange (to me it looks like Halloween, but it's not my car), then bargain for a much lower price or keep looking for a later model.

Both are fairly low milage cars, but newer and less milage is a safer bet. If you are set on a black one(you must not mind washing cars all the time), quit looking at anything else.

I fully agree. I have an '04 I purchased about 3mo ago. It was as low mileage of any later model one I looked at and I like the color and options over the others I looked at. Best of all, I was able to negotiate a MUCH better price because it was "older."

Ultimately, I take the viewpoint of getting a deal I can live with and move forward. Let others fret about whether they got the best deal, color. etc....

Why not get the one that you like.

What are the major differences between an 04 touring and 05 touring? Did Nissan upgrade the quality of the 05 Roadster?

To my understanding, yes. For one thing, the '05 is not known for any issues with tire feathering. The '03's and '04's are.

I believe there were a few other issues as well.
