Default Whats supposed to be here?

I would first like to say Hi, as this is my first post.

Now, on to my question. I own a 04' Roadster & have been wondering what the spare button space on the right side of the heated seat buttons was used for? Was it an option of some sort? Heres a pic.

Thanks!

Thanks, I thought it was just an "extra" button space but wasn't quite sure. I guess I'll find something to use it for.

Well, X, as you can see, since the car's been out for several years, a lot of the "regulars" are now so bored they have to resort to jerking the chains of the new guys.

They're kidding, of course: it's REALLY for the flux capacitor actuator . . . or was it the warp drive? Anyway, welcome to the forum.

Unfortunately, this was a feature I last desperately needed around 1990, but it wasn't available back then.

I was told by a reputable source that this was for the optional ejector seat. Only available in Roadsters, and only works when the roof is down, for safety reasons.

Cool Be Creative

Use that blank switch space to control something that you might add in the future. Like a pair fog lights, etc. I currently use that space for my audio system control ****. This little **** controls the amount of bass output I choose for a given music track.

I always assumed it was for an airbag off switch if one ever wanted/needed to go through the hassle of getting one installed.

Seems like I remember a post from years ago to that effect.
