I know that the passenger seat in my car will automatically go forward until it goes all the way forward if I push on the button on the back and let it go. I was wondering if it is supposed to go all the way back if i push the same button and let it go or if it only goes back as long as you hold down the button. Just seems odd it only is automatic one way.

 

Mine is auto forward only. Have to hold the button down to get it back.

Hmm, two ZRs are confirming it. I thought the coupes had a handle type thing?

 

Mines the same way, and after you get it all the way back your hand is stuck behind the seat and you have to rip it out

 

I think you're supposed to use the button near the center console to put it back.

 

if you use the button on the back of passenger seat it will move backward to the original position that was last selected using the reclining switch, but if you the switch next to the seat it will keep moving until you release it.
