Default Broken Windsheilds

Just wondering if anyone else has the same luck with windsheilds as I do. I have a 07 ZR I bought on the forth of July. 2 days after I bought it I got a chip in the windsheild no problem had it fixed. Three weeks later driving home from work and Crack took a rock and had to have it replaced. It's now a little over two months old get in it after work and I have a big crack half way across it again I heard a little tink this morning on the way in to work. I'm just going to keep a running tally on here to see where this goes.

My fiance thinks I'm nuts, but I swear there is something about the profile of the Z that makes it so vunerable. I have never had so many rocks hit my windshield as with the Z. I had one star-shaped crack repaired last summer and 2 weeks later it was a foot long crack across the windshield. Had the windshield replaced and within a couple weeks had a rock skip across it making 3 dings, then about 4 months ago another rock hit and make another star-shaped crack. So far so good on that one.... I also have a ding on my side window where a rock hit, a chip in my door where a rock hit, and one on the upper portion of my hood where a rock hit....and no I don't follow closely behind big trucks

Wow BlonAz I thought it was just me your car is a rock magnet also. Well they will be out tomorrow to replace the windshield maybe I can go a whole month without breaking it. Lucky my insurance picks up the tab. I'm thinking they make the windshields too thin to cut down on weight. Go fast or broken glass.

04 350 ZR with 33k and no issues. Mine is just a driver pushing it thru the tollway this week right behind others.

Knock on wood, again no issues and it is not pampered

They came out to my work today and put the new windshield in. I gotta give the guy credit there was a little flaw in the windshield he brought with him and he went back to the shop and got another one. Didn't much care for my car sitting in the parking lot with the doors wide open and no windshield in it. So now it's two windshields and one repair in two months.
