Where did you find the picture of the rag top Z

I too have always wanted a convertible...but couldn't wait. Should get my Z in October.

Question- if you think there's a good possibility you'd switch to the convertible after owning your Z for 6 months or so...what's the best thing to do so your not completely upside down? Just buy and hope the resale stays up there b/c of high demand? Trade in? Let my dealership know what I'm thinking and see what they have to say? Can you lease- then trade up? Thanks!

Cash is always the best defense against "upside down". I haven't considered a lease because I know I drive too many miles in any given one year. When the convertible models are available, we'll sit down at the negotiation table again.

OK,VQ, it looks better with a tonneau cover behind the seats, but I will always prefer the coupe, cleaner lines and cheaper insurance comes to mind as well. I know others love convertibles and I say go for it. Not me!

A well-executed convertible would definitely test my loyalty to my S2000...I can't wait to see the real pics, and hope they don't soften it vs. the coupe.

i believe the car will be redisigned a bit for the convertable version. I talked to someone who has seen it and he said it look amazing.

I don't regret not waiting for the convertible. That back is too flat in the back. I call that butt-ugly.

vqs pic was of the concept 350z with the AWESOME paintjob,20s, and other good stuff... i like both of the convertibles... but i would rather have the hardtop...

VQ didn't create that Spyder image, it was created back on Zcar awhile back... can't recall who did it. (not that VQ was claiming to have done it of course)
