Hey everyone. I just got a rattle in my car yesterday and I need your help! It's coming from the rear hatch area (I have an 06 coupe), and I *think* it's the hatch shock(s). When I open the hatch, the shocks are wobbly in their mounts (the little ball socket thingies on either end), and if I wobble the the hatch when it's up, they rattle. I'm thinking they rattle when the hatch is down and closed too. Is this a common problem, and if so, how do I go about fixing it? Thanks!!

ps. I also have a really annoying rattle in the driver side knee pad next to the radio. Any ideas on how to fix this???

pss. Yes, I know this is in the ZR section, but surely ya'll might have some ideas

I have had only one rattle on my roadster, and I wasted a weekend trying to find. I finally went to the dealership, and as it turned out, the subwoofer needed to be tightened. I have been rattle free over a year. Hope this helps........

Can that be done by an average Jane at home or does the dealership have to do it? I've got an annoying on-again, off-again rattle too. When it was in for an oil change last week of course the dealer couldn't replicate the noise.
