A lot has been posted on this topic.
Personally I bought a cleaning and treatment kit by the name of Ragg Topp. When washing the top use the cleaner with a soft bristle brush.
After the top drys completely, then you spray on the treatment and spread around with a dry cloth. Pretty simple.
The hit I use is for vinyl tops.

The suggestion I received directly from Ragg Topp is DO NOT spray directly on the dash, etc. Spray it on a soft cloth then apply.

I have a product that I spray on a rag and rub it in, then when the top is down you get a damp terry cloth towel and wipe evenly from front to back and let dry. I forget the name of it though...so..yeah..Im no help But it works nicely.

Lots of discussion on this topic. For the record I went from Ragtop to 303 and will probably stay with 303. Its a hell of a lot cheaper....and seems to last longer.

I also use the 303 cleaner, and am looking for a good protectant.

What type of protectant does everyone use?

Can't go wrong with 303. That's all I've used.

Just make sure it's the Vinyl Protectant.

The cleaner is generic and can be used on Vinyl and Fabric tops.

BUT Vinyl protectant should only be used on vinyl tops and vice-versa. The manual is very ambiguous in their directions.
