Default Roadster Mods

Are there a lot of people on here that have modded your ZR? What would you suggest to be good brands and mods to do first? Is it like any other car the I/E/test pipe. I have heard spacers are a good mod to do also.

I am asking now because I have seen a few ZR's for sale that already have mods done to them.

I want to make sure certain brands are good quality and not just slapped
together.

Look through the Vendor Classifieds. More or less quality parts there. If it's junk, the vendors usually will hear it and remove. GL

My understanding is your not going to see much HP improvement with the standard Headers/Exhaust/Intake mods like you do with Honda's and the sort... The Z is pretty much maxed out at 300 hp, to see any real improvements you need to F.I. your car... (Supercharger/Turbo)...

Although H/E/I will change the way your car sounds....

IMO, if your not going to F.I. your car, I would stick with just suspension mods, cosmetic and maybe an exhaust if you want a different sound...

Well with most Honda's yes that stuff does help. On the S2000 no they don't. Sounds the like the Z and S might not be too different after all. I think if anything I would like to at least get the exhaust and intake done. I def. won't be going F/I for a while at least.

Maybe if would say the header would add about 10 horses at the wheels I might be more apt to do it. If it just changes the sound I don't need to waste my money on it.

I saw a video on youtube of a guy that had the full I/E/H test pipe combo. The car didn't even sound good. It was just loud.
