Default Mastergrade trunk

Hey guys,
my question is in regards to the Mastergrade trunk replacement for the ZR, I know ISTAN has it (along w/ everything else) installed, does anyone else? I am interested in the fitament of this piece... that is probably the most important thing to me is how well it fits, ie no leaks, irregular gaps and what not, any advise is appreciated!

Istan is the only person with this trunk. Fitment is darn near OEM, I know they had an issue with one side sticking up about 1/2" too much on the driver side, but that is fixed now and fitment should be spot on. The best part about Mastergrade is that they vacuum bag their carbon, this gives the best fitment and quality.

Check out if you've never seen their roadster parts.

^Arg, which means, I'm not sure how much longer the Original Designed Trunk is going to be available

Thanks Jim and istan for your replies!

istan, do you have anything further to ellaborate on what Jim said? What is your overall opinion on this trunk? (currently I have the stillen, which I think is too big) I will be painting it to match my DB roadster. Is a "possible" redesign in order?

The idea has been tossed around to make the trunk look more like the Mastergrade s2000 MG2 trunk or more of a BMW "CSL" style trunk. It's still in the works, but it something that will probably happen soon.

Here's a picture of the s2000 MG2 trunk to give you an idea:

Here is the current Mastergrade roadster trunk:

I like it. I believe the newer design slightly will resemble the Stillen with how it protrudes in the rear. Basically they want to extend the lip in the rear a little more. If they decide to do this, my car will be going back out to Cali for the redesign
