I live about 128th & State Line!
Check in on my club's website www.hazcc.com for events or keep an eye on the "South Central" sub forum under "Regionals". I usually post our stuff there.

It might happen. We will try.
By the way I tried to get on the forum for the Z club and for some reason I can't get registered...do I have to wait until I have my membership done?

im getting the usa spec pa11 installed tomorrow. I will report back.

By the way, I am shocked at how fast it arrived. I ordered it on Saturday, and received it today (Monday).

had it installed today. It sounds great, perfect CD quality sound. I selected the direct mode which alows me to control the ipod itself. It hooks up to the cd input, you lose one cd slot..it uses the 6th. The only complaint is that they had to mount it in the cupholder, so it kind of just sits in there. They drilled a small hole, you can barely see it, and when you close the cup holder the ipod dissapears.

I would recommend it..

Just to be clear, are you saying that with this adapter in place you can no longer play CDs? Can you unplug the iPod and then use the CD player?

know what? I dont know. I will say I think I can use the CD player 1-5, since 6 is reserved for the ipod. I will try it tomorrow and get back to you.

Just one question: Why would you need a CD player if you have an ipod? Just curious.

My understanding is the adaptor plugs into the external CD Changer output.. It shouldnt interfere with any of the radio cd slots...

But from what I understand of zeeroadster post is in order to activate it you choose the 6th cd slot on the face of your radio and it activates the Ipod, slots 1-5 still work with regular cd's... ???

I've had my adaptor for over 2 years now, I should really get around to installing it

I wanted to keep the CD opperable, because I sometimes listen to books on CDs during long trips. It is too much trouble to transfer audio books to my iPod.
Thanks for the information.
Was it difficult remove the radio to install the adapter?

I had someone else install it to be honest. I have little time, and even less patience for that. I heard that its not so bad according to other posts on the topic.

The one issue, is knowing where to mount it. I told him to drill a small hole in the cup holder so I keep it in there. The good part is that you can slide the lid closed over the cup holder and it dissapears. The bad is that the way he ran the wire, I cant use the divider in the cup holder unless i remove the ipod. I just leave the ipod in the car.

Its ok with me, I think its worth it.

Hey Lindsay, did you have any luck with the USA spec PA11NIS on your '07? Can anyone else confirm it works on an '07? Everyone who sells them only shows up to '06....

Hey I noticed some other members from Kansas. Are you guys going to the April 19th meet? I am in Garden City which is around 7 hours from KC. That is a bit far so I am going to skip that one and try one that is closer. Maybe around Wichita.

The adaptor takes the place of the external CD changer. You can still play CD's through the in-dash player/changer.
As for '07 I am not sure but it worked perfectly on my '04.
