Thanks I feel a lot better now. The guy I talked to the day before called me. It wasn't even the GM. It was about 4:30 in the afternoon. He just told me they were going to take care of everything and I would need to bring it in to get three estimates. I told him I would rather take the car to the shops myself. He told me that was fine.

I asked him why they decided this and if someone confessed? The guy told me nobody confessed and its hard to accuse anyone of it. I didn't ask anymore. I guess the main thing is that they are taking care of everything.

Hopefully it won't take a shop long to do repaint the bumper and splash guard.

Thanks for everyones help and input!

Just an update: I drop my car off at the body shop today to get the damages taken care of. The body shop is giving me a loaner car and said it should take them two days.

I will hopefully have the car back by Friday! I will post up the results of everything.

Thanks guys what a relief to get this done. I told the dealership it shows a lot about who they are when they take care of their customers. I didn't ever ask if they had cameras. Next time I am in the shop I will. It was good enough for me that they said, we will take care of everything. They told me nobody confessed but who knows for sure. I found out the guy I have been talking to actually lives just around the corner. Maybe I will see him around the block and get the real story.

Just glad I can share some good news with everyone

Just a suggestion, the next time you take your car in do a walk around with the service writer and make a note of damage there BEFORE you leave it with them. That could save you the trouble of going thru this again.
Glad it worked out for you.

Yes that is going to be the plan the next time I go in for service. I know mistakes happen. I do plan on using them again so I will do this to save a lot of time and headache in case something would ever happen again.
