Default My poor red roadster damage

I was sitting at a stoplight a few days ago and some driver plowed into my rear end. Pretty much took out passengers back side. bumper, trunk, stoplights. Quarter panel pushed into the tire. Had to be towed to the dealership were i bought the car. Has anybody ever had this type of damage? I am worried about frame damage or alignment of the doors and the conv top alignment. Any ideas on what questions to ask the body shop?
Car was only 9 months old.

Dang man, that sucks! I hate when that crap happens. To a fellow kansan too

Hopefully you will be able to get it repaired. If the damage is more than 75% of the actual value of the car it will be totaled. I guess if this happens you can get yourself another roadster.

Let us know what happens. Sorry that happened to you. I hate that.

What's going on?????? That's an easy one to answer. Simply put, they can't drive and they pay attention to everything else but the road. And the gov't loves the idea of allowing just about anyone to pass for a license. Means more money in their pockets and no streets getting fixed.

If the frame is damaged in any way it will be written off as a totaled car, at which point you should get fair market value for it...

Sorry to read about your misfortune.

They're all mesmerized by the beauty of the Z. I had a kid crash hard while riding his bike & crossing the street in front of me at a red light. He couldn't take his eyes of my car.

i had my car for like 7 months and drove into the metal fence thing that prevents cars from flying off the mountain...then the car went into a ditch on the side. The front bumper, passenger side fender all the way to back was smashed up and scratched up. I would guess i hit the fence thing at about 40 mph. There was no engine dmg or frame dmg and in the end the suspension was dmged and alot of parts were destroyed but nothing permanent. I got really lucky, the air bags and glass were all fine too, and my passenger was safe(thank God).
i got quoted for around 15k at most shops, but luckily i have a friend who owns a repair shop and got it done cheap. Its been 3 years and the cars is perfectly fine, alignment is still good and no extra wear because of the accident.

Good luck with ur Z
