Amazing progress dude. And only two months! If I had the car I would barely have a front bumper on it.
I hope you end up saving a bunch of money doing it this way. I wish I had the time and money to do something like this.
What you got planned for the interior?

I would have personally bought one new. Not sure the price it took to fix it, but it was an amazing job. He fixed the car and it looks outstanding. But you can't fix the title brand of salvage. Flame me or whatever but I'm just stating the truth and NOT demeaning the amazing job he did on that car.

troll along.
some badly damaged cars are repaired and sold as used cars so... your point is stupid.
he saved tons of money and knows that the car was fixed correctly.

^True I figured caliboy did the project for the enjoyment and challenge, but Im just saying not all of us can buy new Zs, so to suggest to just go buy a NEW ONE is ridiculous thing to say, a lot of people on here had to buy used because thats what they could afford. Like me

Yep, I replaced the motor in my passenger side door, and it's still not right. Close - but not exactly right.

Missed this thread the first time around and just read the whole thing. Outstanding work on the Z. I must admit I was skeptical the first few pages, but you really did a great job. Looking forward to your next project thread.
