AMAZING job Cali .... perfect color!!! .... nothing wrong with OEM parts ... me I personally like OEM Zs rather than the modified one (appearance wise) ... For performance, you can def go after market .... couple things I would like to suggest...

a.Looks like either the front bumper or the hood is slightly off on the drivers side. It can be fixed with a little adjustments.

b. Some ppw splash guards would look good.

Man, nothing else really .... Enjoy the Z.

thank you everyone! I have been driving it for a few days now and its awesome! It drives like a dream!

I know i still need to finish it up as far as little things here and there but overall it turned out very well i think. The color came out clean and it hasn't been color sanded and buffed yet. I am waiting to get some splash guards so i can have them painted before having it color sanded and polished.

I will recheck the alignment of the body parts one more time before i send it in for sand/polish just to make sure everything fits right.

As to answer why i went OEM instead of aftermarket...i guess its just a personal preference, i love the OEM look and not into the aftermarket addons.

I will do writeup as far as the work i put into it a bit later when i get some time or finish up the interior.

By the way if anyone knows anyone with grey interior parts please let me know, i need some panels inside. Also i need a right door panel from an 06 in black. Other than that its all there, i even got the IPOD adapter so im all set.

Again I would like to thank all the members who helped me with info and parts to put it all together and most of all the support i got from everyone.

I think by going OEM you have simply DOUBLED the value of your investment if you choose to sell it right after you find your pieces.

Still unbelievable progress, I keep secretly thinking this is actually a deconstruction posted backwards

yea i just got gang of clips from Nissan ....there is crap load of clips on this car

i have to say it wasn’t that hard of a project. Everything came together fairly ..well maybe not easy but nothing gave a headache at all. The hardest part has been trying to find the interior trim parts that are missing. There are lots of black interiors out there but finding gray color trim has been very difficult.

What surprised me was how easy the front end was to put together. Nissan did a good job making things simple. Once i had the parts i can say it took me about 2 days to put the front end together.

I guess the best thing about this project (besides the money I saved) is that I know the car like the back of my hand now.
