Ok so I decided to purchase my new soft top but when I went to topsonline.com .....there are actually two different tops to choose from and I'm confused as to which one to pick.....1) Black stayfast cloth....or....2) Black HV Denim.....which should I get?

I have a roadster and I need to replace the top. Could you share your experiences? Did you get it from topsonline? Which top was the correct one? How much was the top/installation? How long did it take to install? Like me, I am sure there are other Roadster owners going through the same predicament. I just bought mine and already have issues with the top. I am considering patching it up professionally since replacing it is so expensive. All info will be really appreciated. Thanks in advance.
PS: What a great ride, isn't it?

The type of material you get for a replacement top is up to you and what you prefer. Most people like the vinyl tops like the factory puts on, others (like me) prefer the look of Twillfast or Stayfast canvas. To me, it is a better look, and is more quiet on the highway with the top up. The top would actually work in the winter better, without the fear of cracking the material.

I'm glad I come across this thread... someone at work I guess doesn't like me and cut my top by the rear window... I first thought it was just something that happened naturally but when I took it to a shop (which quoted me at $1600 for everything) told me it was done on purpose. It's a pretty clean cut about 4 1/2 inches long.

Has anyone tried installing the top themselves? I have a decent amount of mechanical knowledge and skill, but no experience messing with cloth/upholstery. Can't be that hard can it?
