Thank you for going out of your way to take the pics. You make it even more difficult for the rest of us to sit here looking at your hot car and counting the days when we will get ours. You are one lucky dude to enjoy such a nice ride.

Again, congrats and thanks again for the pics. Keep the pics coming!!!

There has been comments on other boards that the covertible top does not fit well (gap in the back were the roof meets the body...and poor fit where the window meets the roof).

Bulldog...what's your observation?

Thanks!

The superblack looks beautiful in a drop top form!

That black on black ensemble is just down right "GangSta"!

I applaud your boldness in getting a 'vert in New york.

Much luck and be well with your new ride.

hey guys,

Thanks for all the nice comments. Now if it would only stop raining, I could actually take her out for a spin.

As for the issue of the seal in the back of the cloth top. I just went out into the garage with all the lights on, and I can see one or two milimeters of light underneath the back of the top. But the way it seems to be designed, even if water could sneak in there, it doesn't appear to be able to leak foward toward the seats. They are protected for several inches by the roll bars and glass inbewteen the roll bars. It is so minimal, that I don't know if I could even photograph it.

Peace, Bulldog

All roadsters come with 17s. The touring has the option of getting 18s for 1200 clams. I have been wrestling with my dealer to make absolutely sure that mine comes with 18s and the pressure sensors. I really don't want to leave anything to chance. If you do, 99% of the time it will be wrong.

Some new pics from today! Unfortunately, not that sunny, however, I think they came out alright.

As for the window issue, It seems to have a good seal. The same phenomenon as with the coupe, the window elevates after closing the door for a tighter fit.

another. If you look on the nissanusa.com web site, it does seem that the 17 inch tires are standard, and you can add the 18's for 1200$ as mentioned above.

Just added some top up pics. I agree with some of the comments regarding the breack in the line in the back of the car with the top up, however, I still think it looks hot and less obvious in person. Also, as I noticed with the Boxter, and on of the reason for the color I picked, the black with black top makes the break even less noticeable.

The back of the cover, since people seemed interested in the fit.

Lastly, for those of you who don't own a coupe and might not be aware, the charcoal leather interior has orange stiching. Very sporty looking detail. Hope I am not posting too many pics. It's really not to brag (I know many of you are waiting for yours), I just remember wanting to see as many pictures as possible and some of you have commented that no detail is too small.

Peace, Bulldog

Bulldog, this is what I noticed about poor softop fitment:

In the middle of the day (good outdoor light), get in your car with the top up. Turn around and look behind the seats, through the glass wind barrier with the "Z" on it. Look at the space where the top meets the car. You will notice light coming in through that space.

Also, a similar space exists between the back of the door windows and the top when the top is up.

That is what bothered me. Let me know if this exists on your car at all.

Cool Mr. Bulldog

No detail is too small - 1,000,000 pictures is to little.

Thanks for giving us more information than Nissan has.

Does this mean your smarter than Nissan or just nicer!

Please keep comments and pictures coming.

Is the Top lined or can you see the bars from the inside while the top is up?

IS there 2 power outlets in the car instead of 1?

Does it have airbag kill swith - or was that an option?

I ordered Silverstone - I like the black just as much, but didn't have the time to wash it twice a day to keep it shinny in the rainy state of Alabama.

Your car is toooooooo HOT!!!!
