Default Quick engine ID question

I have just bought a 35th anniversary roadster - it was advertised (incorrectly I believe) as the GT model. I was just wondering if there is a quick and easy way to identify (not even sure if I'm correct on this) if it has the Rev-up engine? Could I tell using the engine ID # or something?

Thanks, and sorry for the potentially noob question - I'm far more used to my SR20DET engines!

No such thing as a 35th Anniversary roadster. All Anniversary cars are coupes. Your car does NOT have a Rev-Up motor. The only '05's with the Rev-Up are Anniversary's. Some dealers incorrectly advertise all '05's as "Anniversary" cars because '05 was the anniversary year.

Easy way for you to tell is the tach. 6,500 rpm redline = non-Rev-Up. 7,000 rpm redline = Rev-Up.

Hmm, the mystery continues then. It's a November 05 roadster with VDC, 6MT and Brembos and the Bose 7 speakers.

What model do I have???

Edit: I have determined that I do indeed have the Grand Touring model! I was given the impression by another member that that wasn't the case, but the GT did appear in 2005 in the roadster but not the coupe.

Thanks for your help!
