Default Vert: What is the difference between the models?

Looking for a Vert. I see Roadster, Touring and enthusiast as types available. Can someone break this down for me?

Thanks

Basic differences the touring has over the enthusiast

1) Bose Stereo with 6 disc changer and sub-woofer
2) Leather Interior
3) 18" rims instead of the 17" on the enthusiast
4) Padded area for your right knee
5) Thick Carpet liner for the trunk
6) Option of having Navigation system

Off the top of my head, that is all I can think of...

Don't know what the big deal is, if you don't want to answer the question then don't respond to the post...

Thanks...leather is a must for me and it won't be my performance car so 18s are fine.

If you get the Orange, Black or Silver ZR, you can get the burnt orange leather seats with the black nylon netting in the middle... Looks awesome... And it allows the air to blow on your back on hot days keeping your shirt dry...

Yeah...I saw a few with that description. I see that the opening in the back of seat has a function as well...not just for looks. Thanks for that piece of info.

Never got around to doing so....
I did however find 06 roadser grand touring model with 30k on it. Sticker price is 25995....
I quickly sat in it and walked around her. A few scuffs on one wheel, but after that...looks basically new. I gave a salesman I saw in the lot my number and told him to call me with his best price. He asked me what price would I like...I said I have to research some more, but off the top of my head 24 out the door. What do you guys think?

I think $24K out the door for a 06 Grand Touring is a very good price- Make them throw in an extended warranty and it's a steal. 30K miles is a tad higher mileage than one usually sees on a ZR of that year, but you can't beat the price if it was well taken care of.

Spend a little more and get an 07 model. There's a known oil consumption issue with some of the 06 models (rev-ups).

Do not purchase an '06 (revup's = Oil Consumption)

Spend the extra $$$ and get into an '07+

You can thank us after..

He should also see if it is a Nissan Certified vehicle. That has a lot of the same pros as the extended warranty. They CHARGE $1200+ for the cert, but it actually costs them $600, so it should be easy to throw that in after you negotiate a good deal.

BTW, if they are asking $26k, $24k OTD is decent since $1500-2k of that is tax. I always go for the throat at a used car dealer lot. Add to that this dismal economy, and they should be happy to turn a trade-in ZR in November. My bet is that they gave less than $20k credit for that car, so they'd turn a $2k profit at your $24k OTD price.

7) Heated seats <--- I forgot about that one...

ok...so the Rev-up is the manual correct? Does the 06 auto have the oil consumption issue? After test driving a manual today, I think I want an auto. I will leave the manual driving days with my Vette.

Just a few things from me. 3 weeks ago I got a late 05 GT roadster in orange with the orange leather/black mesh seats. Seats are great but have no lumber support built in. GT also has the Brembo brakes and VDC.

As a price comparison, bought mine from a Nissan dealership for $17K with 39K miles and in A1 mint condition. The only thing missing was the sat nav. It had been tumbling in price for a few weeks so I'm sure you could get a killer deal on the one you're looking at.
