There is apparently a low temperature sensor to prevent the top going down when there could be ice. It happened to me once, was probably 40 degrees at the time. I backed it into the shop and put the top down in there, put on wool hats and went for a cruise. Yes, people stared, and not in a good way.

I usually have my top down at least 3-5 days a week when the weather permits. My girlfriend loves to be in when I put it down, but she does complain about her hair...lol.. But she loves it either way...
