Default After Market Stereo??

I'm thinking about getting an aftermarket stereo for my new ZR.
I would like it to have navigation & in dash DVD capability. Bluetooth is optional.
I was looking at the Pioneer AVIC-Z3.
Does anyone know if I can buy the stock nav system to install myself?
I currently have the Bose system with the subwoofer amp.
Does anyone have any advice?

OEM Navi? Nissan won't install the stock navi for you =) save some money and trade-in to one that has oem navi or get aftermarket HU. I was in the same boat as you but then I gave up on OEM navi.

I went with the Kenwood DNX 7100. It is a great all in one unit. Plenty of write ups in the audio forum. Just need to search a little.

The Kenwood DNX 7100 is probably the best on the market right now and a really good price if you can buy one online. Bestbuy will be about 1,000+, but you can pick up a new one from an online store for about $600. Im going to try to pick up one this week if I can.

+1 on Kenwood DNX, the Nav feature (by Garmin) is much better than Pioneer's offering.

As for the OEM navigation... even if you could find all the parts for less $$ than an aftermarket unit (good luck), you'd still have a much more complicated install and an inferior product.

I'll probably be going with either a DNX-5120 or DNX-7120 after the holidays depending on what type of deal I can find

i have the eclipse avn6620 on mine. its not bad. i got the navigation unit, rear carmera, and stereo bluetooth for 600 total. my dad's friend hooked me up haha.

my only complaint about the unit is how damn bright the thing can get at night. you cant really adjust it.
