Default 2004 Nav door and new Roadster

I was just at my local Nissan dealer. They had a 2004 coupe and roadster. The Nav door on both was the same as the ’03, opens the same way no difference. The interior center consol color was also the same gray not black. The Roadster was chrome silver, looked good. I picked up a brochure. I am upset that the liquid aluminum (LA) will only be available on the touring model, that sucks. It would be cool if you could get an enthusiast with LA paint so you could mod the car without having to start at the touring level. Why did Nissan do that? I think that is going to be an awesome color.

I was pretty sure the 03 door slides back into the console on non-nav models as well as nav models. The 04 door does not, tho it looks the same from the outside.

See this thread:

Anyone got a pic of the 03 Nav door open?
