Default My Z roadster....<<pics>>

hi all...

bought this car a few weeks ago and decided to wait to post up pics until i had it slightly un-stocked....

i had already ordered this set of wheels before i even bought a car....basically, found a wheel i had to have and picked a car from there....

sharif @ forged had the wheels to me in about a week, and then it was on to the tires...with them ordered, i was researching teh coilovers...i have had some hks's in the past as well as JIC and tein flex with edfc...liked the tein most....but sharif said the KW v3's would not disappoint...

so, they were ordered too...

while i was waiting on the c/o's, i went and had the crappy non functional double din CD player replaced....pioneer dvh4100, i think is the unit....

anyway, it completely woke up the factory stereo, to the point that it is tolerable for a short time....

anyway, here are the final details....

2005 roadster, ~41k, black touring, ventilated seats, nav....

now on (19x9.5 +17 & 19x10.5 +18) volk GT-S phantom (flat black with FORMULA SILVER centers), bridgestone re050a's 255/35 fr & 285/30 r, KW variant 3 coilovers, and the head unit...

from there i am looking into a BBK or a brembo factory replacement...havent decided....also researching a front end, as the car has a crappy rock chip cover up job on it, although not terrible....

i live in mississippi and am teh chef @ a local restaurant....

always loved Z cars, and this is my 4th....all previous z32tt's....and a few fd rx7's....

anyway, here are a couple shots of the car...

i will post some better pics when i can in the modified section...i need to borrow something better than my worn out canon a95....

great site....i am already learning a ton!!!

Nice start! I think you hit it with the wheels, but I am concerned about
your tire choices. I prefer the 245/275 35 series setup... Overall you've
got a knockout in the works. Welcome!

thanks! i wanted a wheel that was not over done...although there are a ton of the gts out there on the z's, i have the 3rd production set, and have not seen another with the formula silver center......

i was concerned about stretched tires....i absolutely HATE the way they look...

i used an eastwood hub-mounted fender roller and rolled the rears...worked like a charm...with a little heat gun help....

car is low and mean looking, and so far, have not scrubbed at all....even with a very spirited drive this afternoon.....

i think that they should work out just fine and also give me a little more grip too...

thanks again!

i plan to get smoked reverse lights, front reflectors, and paint the door handles....

i am probably only going to black out the headlights partially......heard too many people talk about the poor light output when they are completely blacked out or painted.....

but, it sure does look good the more gangsta you go, so.....who knows....
