Default '05 Roadster Largest Luggage Dimensions

Hi. My wife and I are flying out to look at and hopefully buy (and drive home) an '05 Roadster and would like to know what size the biggest single piece of luggage could fit in the trunk (Length x Width x Height)? Any Pics? I searched the forums and couldn't find any info specifically for a Roadster. Thanks from your pal Todd

hey there,

Just glanced at my owners manual and didn't see any specific dimensions. I can put 2 small to med sized duffle bags or pieces of luggage in the trunk. Think "hand carry" on a plane. Good luck...hope you drive home in it. Wifey and I picked up an 04 two weeks ago and don't know why we didn't get one sooner!!!

Thanks for the info.

Would anyone who has a Roadster be willing to measure the center part (front to back) and give Length x Width x Height dimensions? Also the back (left to right) Length x Width x Height measurements? Hope I'm making this more a little more clear than mud! I drove a Roadster about a month ago and the trunk looked like it would fit a decent sized suitcase in the center with the top handle placed at the very back of the trunk and the wheels placed towards the front. Sure wish I would have had a tape measure with me. If someone could do that would be awesome!

Thanks a million from your pal Todd!

23" Back to Front
30" Wide
9" High @ the shallowest point ( bumper side)

The width measurement is in the main compartment to get the max depth. There will be a smaller area on each side behind each taillight that also can be used. They measure approx 12 x 12 x 9

Squishy duffle bags, or even better, plastic bags ftw! Good luck with the luggage!
