My '05 Z Roadster - Happy Camper that's me!
http://europeanmotorscc.autorevo.com...6&pID=20816524
Just bought this from a dealer in San Diego and drove it home to Jefferson, IA (1900 miles).
Interior is nearly PERFECT and the car runs like a champ. Only 19,000 miles.
Body has a few flaws but nothing unfixable.
Has a clear bra - wish it didn't - looks like it was put on by an amateur - will prolly take it off.
Lambo doors are cool looking and the doors shut tight and even but you have to SLAM them hard. May take them off in future.
Top seals nice and tight and has far less road noise than the '88 Mustang LX Convertible I used to own.
Does anybody know what wheels these are on it?
They are in perfect condition and look great in person.
I think I saved about $3-$4K from KBB, Edmunds, NADA so I am a very happy camper!

Man - everyone is ROUGH on here!
Congrats on getting a ZR. The look of the wheels are subjective - I personally love the look of the stock '06 to '08 wheels - many others disagree with me, but that's OK.
The doors - very interesting.
Just remember - drop the top as much as possible and ENJOY!

I understand that the look is totally subjective, however in my opinion, you need to lose the wheels and the lambo doors... And I mean as quickly as possible. Once that is done, then you will be in business...

The car handles wonderfully and I do plan on dropping the top as often as possible.

good lord, is this the type of forum i just joined? if so, i'm finding another Z forum ASAP.
spector, i think your car rocks...because it's a zr, and because you loved it enough to buy it. personally, i love lambo doors - no matter what the style. but even if i didn't, i certainly wouldn't flame you for your choice. i'd say what i'm saying now:
'congrats on your new z - drop your top as often as possible and enjoy it even more!'

Not everyone is like that. Some just need to learn a little manners and courtesy.
So welcome Spectatorbassguy and skingy! (BTW skingy, look for Michigan hook ups. We've got a great crew here. One of the first meets is in May at Dick Scott Nissan in Canton. Hope to see ya there.)

Spectatorbassguy, Congrats on the buy. Do you have pics from your road trip? What a great adventure. When I was searching for my ZR, I bought it in Orlando and drove it 1,100 miles to Michigan. (Not as an exciting route as the one you took.) But none the less, a road trip with your new ride is a blast.

It was very nice of you to adopt this poor, abused car. Hopefully now it will have a good home with someone who loves it. You know, not many people would be as open-minded as you and take on a car in that shape. Well done.
