Default Dynamat in a roadster

Finally I am getting a little bit of time and get to work on my stereo... Anyways to the point, is sound deadening in a roadster going to do anything useful or is it a waste of time and money? I am new to stereos but all sound deadening does is eliminate road noise, right? I figured I would put this here rather than the audio section because it is more of a roadster specific issue. Thanks in advance!!

Where at in olympia are you from? I went to high school a bit south of there in rochester,wa (right by centralia). I don't know where/how your stereo is set up, but if your stock than no it wouldn't make a difference. Even if you weren't stock, it wouldn't do a whole lot especially because its a convertible. If you had subs in the trunk you could do some silencing there maybe to prevent rattling. If you go into my album pics you can take a look and see how i have my system set up.

I don't have any sound deadening done to mine and it still sounds awesome. i'm not a stereo pro so i could be totally off on this. But i just did an install last weekend on my ZR so im just basically giving my opinion lol

Don't waste your time or money unless you have something rattling and you need it to stop the rattle.

If you are buying expensive equipment, don't save on the Dynamat because it makes a difference.
If you are just putting in some ordinary cheap speakers, don't waste your money unless you plan to upgrade later.
