I went to a gas station the other day and had a guy who owned a Porsche 997 convertible give me the thumbs up as I drove off.
Another time I was filling up, I had an older guy in a Lexus LS460 just start talking to me about how he use to have a drop top. I love this car!
That was a great feeling. Has this happened often to you guys.

I can't be the only one that this has happened to......

 

I debadged and dropped on 20's so I get a lot of folks asking "What is that? It looks badass man!" I got pulled over a month ago and even the officer did a walk around to check it out. I still got a ticket though. LOL

 

i get that a lot as well... sometimes i am cruising and people speed up to catch up to me and then slow down to see the car... they give me and continue...

I agree, especially at the stop lights. people inching forward to get a better look

 

After debadging, I get asked all the time "What is it?" and "Who makes it?" To which I reply... Martians... If I am parked and have the top down (like at a gas station) someone always comments... From little kids to old people - they all love the lines of a ZR on a sunny day with the top down... This is where I say - especially the silver ones...

The funniest so far has been this middle aged lady in a Escalade next to me a a light. She leans over and ask me what car it is, all emblems are shaved on mine.
She said it was a nice car and she used to drive a BMW Z4 in the summer but now her husband made her drive this damn big bus
She then said she would ask him again if she couldn't have a convertible again because the bus was no fun at all.
