Yeah, read what I wrote carefully, guys. Glue won't hurt the PCB, but it coudl melt the LED package face. Glue is OK for the PCB, but if you want to be sure nothing is going to hurt anything, use clear silicone. You can get that stuff on the PCB, the LED (and face), and not have to worry about a thing. Make sure there are no air bubbles in it, though, if it's between the LED and the screen... air bubbles tend to make funny patterns.

Thanks for the advice guys. We will retry the install this weekend. I will go out and get some clear silicone and CA. I think the key is to get something to lodge between the glass and one side of the PCB to create the angle (like the foam piece that RJ used in his install).

Just a suggestion...but why not make a sleeve for the led to rest in and mount the sleeve at the correct angle. The light is only emitting from the end of the LED, correct? The sleeve could be made out of just about any product.

The footwells came out very good and actually weren't that hard to install at all...we didn't hook up to reverse because we weren't sure if the wire we were looking at was in fact reverse or not so we left well enough alone.

I'm interested in some pics for the website, guys. The site will be undergoing a major overhaul during the next month or two in prep for my company's official product rollout. This means a new look (of which I have absolutely no idea the direction it will take), new pics, an e-store, etc.
Various pics of the Footwell Lights in different colors is what I'm looking for, in addition to the Windscreen Lights, so whip out those digitalsand start snapping.

If you want to swipe some pictures from my website be my quest. Warning though, some photo's are huge, they were taken with an 8 Megapixel camera.

Dan:
If you didn't see the pic I took of Mike's car with the windscreen and the footwells, you should look at it; I think it could be the staple pic for your website; I have the original so PM me on the S board if you want it.
I can take more of my S screen and if you send me a set of footwells I'll be happy to snap some of the screen and the foots

The bigger the pic, the better. More resolution means I can resize to something smaller and keep the maximum level of detail.
I'll come back in the next day or two to grab the pics, just don't have the time to mess with that stuff tonight.
