looks good IMO! The roadster used isn't the best model for the top. They haven't posted a painted and finished pic YET. I'm going to try and photoshop in chrome silver. I think it will look good with a modded V2 roadster
I agree. Perhaps it just takes the right combination of options, color and overall ride to really set this off. I love the CF overlay option.
Thumbs up Gary. Hang in there.
Keep in mind, My350Z is not the entire Z community. Perhaps if you brought one down to ZdayZ to get some exposure, opinions would be different after seeing it in person. If you do bring one down, can you do one in CF overlay, stock size rear glass window with defog? I just want to set it on my car and take a photo!
Perhaps a little media exposure will stir up some interest!
this thing just wont sell if its going for nearly 3k painted. It has serious potential, if the price is right. I'm pretty annoyed by this waiting game. Face it, this thread is over a year old, that's slow by any one's standard....
If it was quick, easy, or cheap to do it would've been done by now. Maybe these guys are too busy making tops for their current models. They seem like a cool US company so I wish them luck. I wont need it until next fall so I can wait. The top stays down if its above 50 degrees so this would be an early spring/late fall thing for me. Color matched might look really cool.
I got it primed and will have my body shop guy assemble and paint for me.
I had it shipped to his shop because it is cheaper to ship it there than to my house.
what do you guys think about the carbon fiber overlay vs black gloss paint on a sunset orange lemans?
Faux carbon fiber has to go out of style soon, its been around too long. I can't wait. Real Carbon fiber is a different story but never as attractive as a good paint job.
I was kinda hoping that when it was finished it would have looked more like the top for the solstice or the sky - that is a nice aggressive looking top:
Not to mention I think the standard top is still pricey - most every other top on their site (other than the c5/c6 vette and the new stang) are at least $300 less.
