well it was an off duty cop.. idiot wanted me to pay for my damages and him for his own... 2 lanes im in the right hes in the left doesnt check his blind spot merges into me pushes me into curb rim ate the curb, front left fender is ****ed bumper is pushed in light scratched from fender what a stupid OPP cop..... wouldnt admit that it was his fault didnt want to call police thinking its under 1000$ minor.

first thing the guy says when he got out of his car "oh thank god i thought it was a porshe" lol is this not him addmiting he ****ed up and hit me ?

waiting for the police to show up he wanted to leave i was hopeing he would, get him charged with leaving the scene, kept telling me were not priority we gonna have to wait 2hrs to which i responded "yes, damn lazy *** ****in pigs taking forever" forgot he was a cop didnt really care either he got a bit offened like i care.

douche bag played it like it was my fault or something, cop said hes gonna have to put no fault since no witnesses insurance told me it was his fault and wont affect my premiums so dont have to pay deductible etc....

i mean do a little investigating popo i know there was no fatality but u can tell from how the cars are hit where and what who was at fault....

now im stuck with a dodge avenger ftl.... hope they can fix it quick!

hmmm just a rant but if it must have a moral

1. get a number for someone that saw it if they dont wanna wait lweast u can call them when the cops show up...

2. cops are useless douche bags that probably should of been #1

3. dont get a dodge avenger

Police officers back each other up so this isn't a surprise.

Your post kind of gave me a headache, but I will say this. I was with a friend who got hit by a cop. CLEARLY the cop's fault, but he got out all pissed and irate at us "teenage drivers". I hate teens as much as the next guy, but anyone would have been able to tell the cop was at fault.

I think it is in their training not only not to admit fault, but to make you feel like a complete douche for even being near them at the time of their bad driving.

 

i dunno if i can go thru with faking being disabled, you have to get a disability certificate before insurance starts paying ya. plus going to a rehab clinic every other day for bogus treatment doesnt sound like fun..... i already get free massages from work... plus its prolly not worth it here in canada for a the measly 20gs u might get after a few years. maybe in the states it would be worth it : /

I share your pain man, but let me say that, generally cops are not bad people.
Like in every establishment, there are a few bad ones but the big picture is that they serve to protect people.

imho they are all douche bags i guess there may be some that are good but they get labled douche bags in my book regardless.... cops dont serve and protect only way they ever solve any crimes are witnesses and rats doubtful they do any actual investigation above and beyond what they gots too.... other then that they sit around parked next to each other shooting the **** or harrassing people for speeding etc. mind u ive never been pulled over before in my 10 years of driving.

Really glad you're OK - sucks about the car - in your shoes, I'd be hoarse from yelling.

Maybe insurance will paint the front and get rid of some of those rock chips for you.

actually i have a clear 3m bra on the hood no chips. the plastic bumper also has no visible chips i can see im sure they will paint it regardlezz. everyone else that has chips are they on the hood? or the bumper/both?

Sorry it happened to you. Not all law officers are bad, but the sad thing is that a lot try to abuse their power.

I'd look in my rearview for a while they just TAGGED your a$$ buddy.........Cops that are dicks have huge ego problems and love to abuse their power. What better than to find you and harrass you every once in a while...good luck and loved that "PIG" remark! too funny!

getting new light its cracked in the back somewhere,
they fixing the fender and the bumper painting both, refinishing the wheel.

not new parts but lets hope they do a great job i still dont see how they get a scratch/bend out of a plastic bumper i guessing buffing the **** outta it/melting it or something
