We also sell for MSRP or if you want a coupe $1200 off. Wait a couple months till the supply is better and I can probably get them to cut the convertible price as well.

Was interested in the Z since the auto show last spring, that's when the sales guy mentioned the roadster, saying delivery had been delayed until August. Late July I saw one , had to have it!
Most dealers in the area are marking the roadsters up from $2-10K! I found only 4 dealers in the Bay Area(SF) without an additional markup, they were all sold out of roadsters. The dealers with the markup were sitting with cars in their show room but wouldn't drop the markup. I must have called 25 dealerships from Fresno to Petaluma and Sacramento. Ordered one so I wouldn't miss out and put deposits on 2 others to 'secure' one as dealers "had one coming on the truck tomorrow". Well I saw 2 at a dealer in Daly City, and told him I'd " buy it right now" if he'd sell it without the additional $4999.00 markup, the Sales Manager dropped it to $2000. I walked. I had emailed for a price quote from the same dealer and the saleman called me a week later to say come on over and drive it, we'll make you a great deal! I told him I'd buy it for $1000 under MSRP, he laughed and said the manager would never sell it for that price, so I said OK, nice talking to you. He called 4 hours later and said come over the General Manager was willing to make a deal, and he did, $1000 under the msrp of $39,190. I took it!!
Chrome Silver,
frost interior, blue top,
18" wheels,
mats,
guards
I love it!

Default I luv my dealership!! Seriously

My dealership clearly stated they will never ever sell a car over MSRP, for reasons stated already in a previous post, --- if a dealership is reported to NissanUSA for inflating ZR prices they will risk losing their ZR allocation and being blocked from ordering. Obviously, for some small volume dealerships this may mean very little to them and NissanUSA enforcement may be questionable. However, my dealership has received the "Nissan Owner First Award of Excellence 2003," and is one of the top volume dealerships in the nation. It is sad other dealerships cannot see the value of treating customers fairly. I can walk into my dealership any day of the week and time and it is alway busy with paying customers, due to their highly regarded reputation.

Hence, I paid MSRP for my ZR and have no regrets.

Default $800 under MSRP

Picked up my roadster Oct. 31, I called Santa Maria Nissan because local dealer had no stock of any 350Z. Santa Maria said they had two on the floor, one red, one black. Sales gal asked me which one I wanted to test drive, I told her the black one because I know I was going to buy the red. After saleslady and I took test drive she said they never charge over MSRP. I said I would not pay MSRP. Sales manager took $500 off, I said I needed a little more over to make the deal and ended up with $800 off. Love the car. California Centra Coast is roadster & Harley country!!

$2900 CDN under MSRP.
I pitted two dealerships against each other.
Another significant factor is that in Canada, Roadsters don't sell too well a few weeks before winter storms start blowing. Now I have to keep it in the garage all winter.

When I first started looking, most dealers wanted $2-$5000 over MSRP. I found a dealer who would order a car at MSRP. I went there with my cousin and had pulled out my wallet to charge the deposit. He told me to wait a minute while he called his friend who owned a dealership nearby. His friend said that he would take care of me and the deal was $1000 off MSRP. Then the first dealer offered to match the deal, except they wanted a nonrefundable deposit. So I've ordered the car at $1000 off of MSRP. (SS, burn orange ventilated seats, 18" wheels, NAV, and all of the other goodies except for the trunk net). It should be here in Jan or Feb. BIGDAWG, if you need some help finding a car at MSRP, or perhaps discounted, I'd be glad to point you in the right direction, and I'm sure some of the other folks on this forum would also be happy to do the same.

I purchased my Z Touring yesterday at a local dealer. Paid MSRP, and feel lucky. Target delivery date May 28th. I understand that any dealership that quotes more$$ runs the risk of losing their allotment

wow....mine with my additions and markup was like 39,500 plus tax and license....custom order. His price was around 37,900 and he had a 1500 mark up. They have been great....my understanding (from talking to two dealerships) is that this is a limited edition? Am I being fooled? just curious...I adore the car....I've been a Porsche gal for years.....I really like this car.....

I got my new Z roadster touring for $35,400. The Sticker said the MSRP was $37,900. Everywhere I looked before they were at least 2 grand over MSRP. I got it at a Carmax/Nissan dealership. Carmax is a used car dealership, but they usually have an agreement to sell new cars with other auto makers like nissan, honda, dodge, etc. I think there are other Carmax dealerships that sell brand new nissans in Maryland and California. They had a special going the day I bought mine --- $1000 off the everyday carmax price --- which was still $1500 less than the sticker. I think you can find out about them online ---- www.carmax.com

I just got the one roadster they had on the lot - (LeMans Sunset, touring - all options except navigation and tire pressure monitor). I am not sure if they can custom order them or not.

Ordered my Z touring last week. I'm getting all options except the Nav system. I'm paying MSRP -1500. Got a great deal (at least I think so). I did a "whole lot" of research and made the internet mangager an offer. I told him if he wanted to make money, I'd put 1K down that day. He countered and it was within my price range.

You guys who had under MSRP deals should post your dealer's contact info and/or let them know that we'll go to another state (at least i would) to get an under MSRP roadster. Maybe then they'll all (or some) start to sell under MSRP.
