Maintenance for brand new replacement top
So I've only had my car for less than a year. I bought it from the dealership when it was less than two years old. Top appeared fine when I bought it. I did not do much to take care of it over the past year. I know this is my fault; never had a convertible, and didn't realize the consequences of not taking care of it.
Anyway, it developed two small tears due to screws rubbing on the inside. Service guy told me to take care of it properly and that might not have happened as quickly. They are replacing it for me because it was still under warranty.
Question: What do I need to do now to maintain the top?

Imho, this sounds like a manufacturer defect and not something you could prevent through maintenance. There's a similar thread on this, but that person had less luck getting it replaced under warranty ...

A little info on top care is here: https://my350z.com/forum/350z-roadst...-soft-top.html
Thought there were many more threads on the subject of top maintenance, but maybe somebody cleaned out the forum ... ?

That thread you linked to about Nissan not replacing the top was actually me!

Went to a different dealership, and he couldnt understand why the first one wouldnt do it.
I also remember there being tons of care threads when I first got my car, but didnt see any stickied.
