Wrecked 2007 Roadster- What should I do with it?
Hey all,
I bought a wrecked 350z Roadster a while back on eBay. It has a clear title, which is hard to figure, cuz it was hit HARD. As I peeled old parts off, I saw just how bad it was. I already sold engine and tranny, cuz that was hit too.
It looks like I would have to do a complete front end, from firewall forward. It also has a little split in left front unibody that would have to be fixed. Has clean Carfax, but Autocheck has clean title with damage disclosure on the frame.
As we all know, most wrecked ones are hit in front, so front clips are high priced as well as trying to get a whole car to use. I've found many salvage cars in A LOT better shape than this one (too bad I can't swap VINS ).
I'm now leaning towards parting the thing out, not sure what to do. What to you guys think?

holy shiznit that got hit good! Our of curiosity, how does the passenger compartment look?
What were you wanting to do with this anyway? All I can say is part it out... looks like way too much work to get driving again. Too bad you already sold the engine/trans, you could have rebuilt it and make it a dedicated track car. Not safe for a DD, but with a decent rebuild and a quality roll cage it would make a cheap track car.

Way more trouble than its worth. it would cost way too much to bring it back to life. I would part it out. From your pics it looks as if a few things might still be good. Seats, interior pieces, wheels, rear suspension and brake components, etc. However if you decide to sell the wheels let me know. i need a factory set for my 06.

Once you take a z's headlights and front bumper off the front end looks pretty bare so add the engine and trans and this is what you get. Yes it does have a lot other damage but you did bight off more than you could chew, you heard clean title and that was it donate and take it as a loss

Looks like the engine took damage, the fire wall has wrinkles in it, the frame rails are twisted beyond repair the tires are camber worn (cause of accident?), windshield frame damaged and most of the valuable parts are destroyed.
Sorry to say this is a total loss. Hope you walked away OK.

Looks like I'm gonna part it out...I have priced out some of the parts, looks like I can make a little more than what I paid. Wheels and tires are good, seats, doors, etc. Thanks for input guys!

Interesting pics!
Good to know that the interior seems to have held together fairly well, as opposed to collapsing -- especially for a convertible! I wonder if the passenger(s) were able to walk away on their own? Although, I can't tell if the rear headrest supports are tilted in somewhat.
The door also looks like it is in perfect shape, except for the mirror. Do they still open/close properly?
Might just be me, but looks like those front tires have a lot of feathering too.
Sell the wheels (if they aren't damaged) and the door(s), I guess?
