Default Vailside V2 hood fit problem

Anyone have experience with fitting a Vailside V2 hood on a 350Z roadster ? Sides are off but hood won't completely close. Looks like its hitting on top strut tower bar. Then again, I think most people that got the hood got it for their coupe. I also know that roadsters usually have more "stiffeners" for the car since they lack a roof and B/C pillars.
sway bar.

I have used other Vailside after market kits and they are top notch company. Only thougt is the hood different on coupe vs roadster ?

I remember when we put my Seibon VS2 on we had to mess with the latch a little. Now its near perfect. Just work at it a little im sure you will get it.

Ok so spelling isnt my long suit LOL Thanks for the suggestions, I will try to adjust the hood latch first. I can always remove the bar as a last resort but prefer not to. Brian at Veilside has been very helpful, great company ! I will post the final outcome.

BTW Nissan confirmed there is no difference in the hood on coupe vs roadster

Hi Brian
No still pondering my options but I do want to go on record as thanking you and Veilside (not Vailside) for excellent customer support!
