hate to bum you out man, but really if you are going for power then its not the right route to take as everything on that car would basically need to come off and be replaced to make any real power...it is a nice looking car but like i said before not gonna be a powerhouse by any means...If you dont have it yet cant you get out of the deal?

cant back out of a deal after I told someone I would take it but it is mainly for my wife and hopefully it is fast enough for her. Is the stage 4 worth the extra grand or should I just keep the intercooler and switch to a better charger. you all think it was a decent deal at 16000

do not have it yet. it will be delivered next week but you guys have bummed me out on it now. It does have the carbon fiber hood but that may look like crap to. the rims are peeling a little, what do you all think about gloss black potorcoat on this cars rims
I think the car looks good, actually. You can repaint the hood the same body color and it'll look nice. I think the Stillen set-up is a good kit. Not huge power, but reliable and smog legal, and ideal, in my opinion, for a woman.

I'd leave it all as is. If you want to start over, however, with a clean, silver, 04' roadster (N/A) and supercharge it for more power, I have one for sale for $14k.

no parts will be valuable to you that are on that car as far as the supercharger aspect..even the intercooler i would say would be worth changing...piping will not be the same or ems or anything about it..It is a roots kit and a vortech is a centrifugal and mounted and ran totally different..Just because you said you were gonna buy the car doesnt mean you bought it..Did you sign papers and take ownership or pay money? Get out of it if you can if you are even thinking about taking it apart to change it..

I beleive that's only the 05' rev-ups (and of course 06 rev-ups). 6MTs only.

thanks guys I will just leave it for the wife and find another project. I will paint the hood and what do you all think about powder coating the rims black. You all know a lot more about the looks of these cars than I do.

it will increase the sound and power, I would get a set of either resonated test pipes or some nice High flow cats. Make sure you get the car tuned after you do it though....

as far as i know with the stillen kit you cannot tune for anything like that and that it is a set tune from stillen

if it has stock cats on it now then go with high flows or test pipes..high flows will be a cleaner mellow sound compared to test pipes, and test pipes you will get a smell from having no cat, i dont mind the smell but some do..If you can tune for the change i say it will be worth it but if not then you wont gain a whole lot with ur setup imo..

you should get a carbon fiber top...that'd be rad and then you wouldn't have to paint the hood. haha

car looks nice. truthfully i wouldn't do **** to it. If it's for your wife you do'nt want to wrench on it all the time.

Stillen has a lack of power but it's probably the least troublesome of all.

Stage 4 is a joke for a grand. I would probably find a stage 4 pulley so you'll get more boost then use the rest of the money for test pipes, Osiris ECU flash, and dynotune.

That right there will benefit you the most. Osiris ecu flash will get you a very good tune on the car and with test pipes (or high flow cat)

bowling green kentucky. You're a few hours from lexington where one of the best Z shops in the country is.

www.injectedperformance.com

give them a call about some HFC or test pipes. Then talk to them about putting an osiris ecu flash and dyno tuning it. They'll have it running really nice with the osiris and getting rid of that crappy stillen engine management box.

I could be wrong but I read somewhere that roots type s/c's love backpressure, therefore, eliminating cats or having a freer flowing exhaust would ultimately set you back on your goals as far as that particular supercharger is concerned. I don't know who said, I think it was tylerxfire, but go with what you want and what YOU want only. Don't listen to all these canaries that say, "do this and do that." Be your own decision. I'm gonna PM you tylerxfire, if you are gonna part out during that time of the year, I will save my money =) You make good power with your setup and from what I remember you telling me, you are on a stock block right? I'll pm you, lol.

Change the hood for a stock 07-08 hood, it would look much better.
